Abstract

Saudi Arabia refused to recognize the People's Republic of China after its founding in 1949. It aligned itself with the US-led western camp and announced its recognition of the legitimate Republic of China as a legitimate government of China. It continued its policy until 1978, which was a turning point in China's policy. The delegation of the Hajj and Islamic organizations between the two countries played an important role in advancing the rapprochement between the two countries, accompanied by increased contacts between the leaders of the two countries to enhance cooperation J and sports science, and the form of military cooperation, the most important step in the way of the success of the convergence and the establishment of formal relations between them in 1990.
