Abstract

Egyption –Tunisian cultural relations are character-rized by a stage of instability ,sometimes accompanied by stages of  tidal ,depending on the circumstances of one country . The cultural exchange between the united Arab Republic and Tunisia was influenced by the policy of Tunisian president Bourguiba and his cultural ideology based on French language and culture which common in the Tunisian society , and thus less cultural exchange in that period and was confined to a few things until 1964 when Bourguiba approached the Arab bloc and improve its relationship whith the United Arab Republic ,which led him to agree whith them to sign a cultural agreement to regulate the cultural relations between the two countries , The cultural convention was signed during the visit of president Bourguibato the United Arab Republic in February 1965, which focused on journaallism ,radio,theater,television ,cinema,archeology and tourism ,and provided for the unification of systems and coordination of efforts in the field of media and exchange of aid between the two parties to promote the Arab cultural life and the strengthening of Arab thought in both countries in line with the general framework to strengthen their relations in all fields of culture and arts , and the purpose of this convention  is to strengthen diplomatic relations and promote the culture of both countries .
