Plagiarism, AI-Generated Content, and Publication Ethics Policy

(In accordance with COPE Guidelines)

The Journal adheres strictly to the principles and best practices set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and maintains zero tolerance for academic misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and unethical use of artificial intelligence tools.

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal are subjected to a mandatory plagiarism screening using Turnitin prior to any editorial or peer-review consideration. The Journal does not process, review, or publish manuscripts containing plagiarized, duplicated, or improperly attributed material, whether intentional or unintentional.

Plagiarism Threshold

A manuscript exhibiting a similarity index exceeding 20%, as reported by Turnitin (excluding references, properly cited quotations, bibliographies, and standard methodological expressions), shall be automatically returned to the author for mandatory revision.

If substantial plagiarism persists after revision, or if evidence of deliberate plagiarism is identified, the manuscript will be rejected outright and may be subject to further ethical actions in accordance with COPE procedures.

AI-Generated Content Policy

The Journal permits the limited use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools solely for language enhancement, formatting assistance, or readability improvement. The use of AI for generating core scientific content, analysis, interpretation, or conclusions is strictly prohibited.

The acceptable level of AI-generated content must not exceed 25%, as determined by recognized AI-detection tools. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be rejected without peer review. Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and ethical compliance of all submitted content, regardless of AI involvement.

Ethical Violations

Any manuscript found to violate plagiarism or AI-use policies at any stage of the editorial or publication process shall be rejected, withdrawn, or retracted, as appropriate. The Journal reserves the right to notify the authors’ affiliated institutions when serious ethical misconduct is confirmed, in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Author Declaration

By submitting a manuscript to the Journal, the author(s) formally declare that:

  • The submitted work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere.

  • All sources are properly cited, and the manuscript is free from plagiarism or unethical duplication.

  • Any use of artificial intelligence tools complies fully with the Journal’s AI-use policy and does not exceed the permitted threshold.

  • The author(s) accept full responsibility for any ethical violations discovered before or after publication.
