Abstract

The present study aims at identifying the relationship between religious commitment and internet addiction among the students of the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences, Dhi Qar University. The two researchers adopted Al-Hamdani (2005) for religious commitment and Karim's (2013) scale for internet addiction. The research sample consisted of (7.8%) of the total research population (2570). The current research consisted of (200) male and female students from the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences, Dhi Qar University. After analyzing the sample questionnaire using the arithmetic mean and the test equation Tally's sample Two independent samples and Pearson correlation coefficient, The research found that there is an inverse relationship between religious commitment and Internet addiction, where the more religious commitment the less Internet addiction and the greater the addiction to the Internet, the less religious commitment
