الملخص

   This research examines the contentious aspects of two important modern linguistio school they are the trans formativ obstetric linguisties led by their pioneer noam Chomsky cognitive linguistics.The research aims to introduce the basic principles upon which the two linguistic schools referred to above were found by  revealing the controversial points: namdy the concept of language and meaning this study revealed important opinions that were  included in the principles of the two linguistic school mentioned above it can contribute to the enrichment of modern linguistic studies and provide scientific bendfit to studentsin this highly important scientific field
