The research aims to show the position of the Soviet Union on the political events and developments in Lebanon during the period (1958-1964). This period was described as a critical period in the modern and contemporary history of Lebanon, which resulted in the problems that followed, and was an extension that has claimed the lives of many of the sons of this peaceful people, The truth is that if we say that Madar in Lebanon was a great uprising in 1958, it is only the result of the colonial rivalry and the desire to acquire the goods of this country and to move from it to other Arab countries. This competition was mainly based on who led the axis of the East Soviet, the axis of the West represented by the United States of America , This paper presents a brief summary of the nature of this competition by focusing on the position of the Soviet Union on the events and political developments in Lebanon during the period mentioned above, which included the events of the Lebanese uprising in 1958, as well as its position on American interference in Lebanese affairs. His position on developments in Lebanon after the intifada, especially the nature of the relations that grew between Lebanon and the Soviet Union after the arrival of Fouad Shehab to the presidency until 1964.
