Abstract

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and may the blessings and peace be upon Mohammed and his straightforward and pure family, Thus:

Really over al-Rashideen age (the rightly guided caliphs' era), there emerged once a bunch of characters, who were in fact  well known for their honorable attitudes concerning on the rightful preference of Imam  Ali ( peace be upon him) ruling in caliphate.

In this research, we touched upon to one of these characters. It is he governor to Egypt, Mohammed Bin Abi Hudhafa. He was utterly devoted to the ruling of  the prince of the believers, Imam Ali ( peace be upon him) , and he was most real defender to his method as well as being hard protestor to Umayyad policy. That which was represented by the caliphate Othman Bin Affan  and by his governors at the Islamic regions in money hoarding of Muslim people.

Therefore , Mohammed revolted in Egypt, protesting against that policy, calling to finish up  Umayyad  hegemony over the ruling. So, he was one of the first inciters for revolution against Othman and his governor at Egypt, Abdullah Bin Saad Bin Abi Sarah. Albeit he himself being a relative to Othman and in his childhood was under adoption by the caliph Othman after Mohammed's father passed away.

Yet he was more concern of people suffering due to unjust Othman's  governors policy. Therefore, he had to revolt, for defending the oppressed. Later after the revolution finally succeeded, he was appointed as Egypt governor. That reason made  Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufian and his supporters angered. Due to Egypt importance during that time. For that Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufian endeavored to weaken Mohammed's attitude by threatening him he could be killed. Finally , he chose to be killed rather than to call  Imam Ali  names , despite the close consanguinity which connected him to Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufian , and he did not care much to  blood link and submitting faith relation first .
