The Level of Analytical Thinking among University Studen
The present research targeted identifying the level of analytical thinking among university students. To achieve this, a special tool was designed according to the principles of Sternberg and his definition of the concept. This tool consists of 40 items. After having the validity and stability of the scale been verified, it was applied to the research sample which was (400) male and female students. The results show a kind of unavailability of an accepted and statistically significant level of analytical thinking among the individuals of the research sample in general and according to the variable of sex (males-females) as well. However, the analysis has shown a statistically significant difference for males with scientific major in favor of males with a human major. At the end of the research, the researcher suggested some recommendations and suggestions.
