Abstract

    The aims of this paper is tagged with (semantic relations and their role in coherence text - applied study in the light of nodal discourse in the Koran). To demonstrate the manifestations of textual cohesion, through strategies (semantic relations) and its various forms, and try to explain the concept of those textual relations and reveal their role in achieving semantic coherence, within the limits of the rhetorical nodal discourse in the Koran, by applying the theories of textual science and deliberative, and the adoption of descriptive analytical method. The research is not aimed at statistics as much as it focuses on the practical side.

       The research has been organized in a preamble and five axes: each of them focused on showing a relationship of those five relationships chosen to reveal the importance of these relations and their role in finding text coherence. The research reached a number of results, the most important of which are:

Nodal discourses in the Qur'an have included most of the semantic relationships that the text scholars have said, which reinforces the validity and legitimacy of the linguistic theory of the text. These relationships have also contributed to pragmatic coherence by linking texts
