تحليل جغرافي لواقع حركة النقل بالسيارات في مدينة الناصرية

Abstract

Transportation by vehicles and cars was dedicated to conveying people and goods with high efficiency. However, the ability to perform this function is declined due to the increase in the number of cars in addition to the limited capacity of streets to accommodate the growing number of cars; this cause  worsens the problem in the city of Nasiriyah .   This research paper aims to study and analyze the efficiency of car's traffic in the city of Nasiriyah, by counting the number of passing vehicles of all sizes, and then converting those numbers into units proportionate the standard for vehicles. The study was done during the morning and evening peak of normal days and holidays for all cars entering and leaving the city .   In short, this research is an attempt to find out all the obstacles to affect on the efficiency of transportation by cars and vehicles, so that we can overcome and develop the optimal solutions that help address the problem of congestion and reducing the impact on the city by using the scientific research .
