كشف تغيرات الغطاء الارضي لمحافظة ذي قار للمدة 3013_2020 باستخدام المؤشرات الطيفية
Abstract
The study aims to assess the ability, possibility and accuracy of using modern geographic technologies to detect the change in land cover using spectral indicators, as well as establishing a digital geographic database for the land cover in the study area located in southern Iraq between two latitude (331 "33" 30°) and (37) "00'32 °) north, and arcs along (12" 38 "45 °) and (38" 10 '47 °) east. The study relied on satellite visualizations acquired from the American Landsat-8 satellite for the years (2/28/2013, 2/26/2020), and adopted in its processing and analysis the analytical approach and cartographic algebra method in analyzing space data, as well as the means and tools for the software of the sensor data Remote and geographic information systems. The study reached a set of conclusions, one of which was showing the importance of integrating geographic information systems and remote sensing techniques in monitoring and detecting the change of dynamic environmental phenomena such as vegetation cover and water bodies, as it was an effective and fast tool in obtaining results quickly and with little cost and effort.
