الملخص

Reading Ma'an bin Aus Al Muzni poetry, a number of significant language features can be noticed. It is necessary to shed light on them as they refer to the poet's awareness and care to foreground these good morals which have been stressed by divine religions and values. It can be clearly noticed that the Islamic tone is dominant in his poetry represented in the moral principles and the call to follow  them. He was also interested the sociological aspect in his poetry: generosity, his encouragement to avoid strife and hatred between siblings and others. His poetry also calls for wisdom. This comes out of his Arabic and Islamic upbringing and experience which was later reflected in his poetry. The poet used a variety of symbolic – based mainly on simile and metaphor. He also used a variety of language patterns with aim to foreground the poetic text identity and its intellectual content by using different verbs form and theme and rheme forms.
