Abstract

Without a doubt, the dimensions of renewal in the theology and its emergence as  a new science, linked to the emergence of new fields of conflict, and the entry into a battle with the ideas of opposition and attack. Many challenges have arisen against the Islamic faith that have required c theology to respond to them, In order to defend religion. Based on the idea that Islam gave the theology responsibility of defending it  not for a particular era but for all eras Including our time, which has evolved considerably in all intellectual fields.

Islam must keep abreast of these developments and new changes, and then reconsider many of the beliefs and concepts that prevailed previously in proportion to the reality imposed by scientific progress; the theology must renew itself and raise new topics and issues on some concepts and doctrines of the Islamic religion.

Change and renewal in theology included his definition, language, issues and methods, the only thing that has not fundamentally changed is (its purpose and aim), its goal has been to defend Islam from an ideological and Creedal point of view.
