الملخص

After the outbreak of the Second World War, Britain's problems in India increased. The most important of these problems was the refusal of the Indian leaders to join the war effort with the latter giving them guarantees of recognition of India's independence after the war. British politicians rejected this and as a result of the war pressure that worsened in Southeast Asia In early 1942, the British government agreed to send a mission to India headed by Sir Stafford Cripps to discuss India's independence, India's support for Britain in the war, and despite the mission's failure to achieve its goals. Was the beginning of the end of the British occupation of India because of giving it a motive for the Indians to start a mass movement against Britain was the beginning of the road to achieve the independence of India
