Al-Muqtataf magazine focused on its writings on the personality of Dr. Cornelius Van Dyck, due to the influence of the founders of the magazine (Yaqoub Sarrouf and Faris Nimr) by his personality.
To shed light on Dr. Van Dyck's various activities in Lebanon, by following him through the pages of Al-Muqtatif magazine, we chose our paper entitled (Cornelius Van Dyck and his activities in Lebanon: reading in the writings of Al-Muqtifah magazine 1840-1936). And it became clear that its purpose was to highlight its distinguished role for future generations, so it did not leave a specific activity or act that came out of it, but filled it with research, clarification or praise at the top of its pages.
