The aim of this research is to identify the attitudes of Arabic language teachers in the intermediate stage towards changing and developing the curriculum of the Arabic language for the second grade intermediate. The research sample consisted of (57) male and female teachers (94%) of the original community (30) teachers and (27) schools, Those studying second grade intermediate students in the Directorate of Education in Dhi Qar - Nasiriyah Education Department were chosen intentionally, and due to the nature of the research researchers adopted the descriptive approach, and to achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers prepared a measure of trends consisting of (32) paragraph, and verified the validity of the scale and stability, The statistical analysis package (spss) was adopted to extract the results RT Results:
- The teachers of Arabic language in the intermediate stage in Dhi Qar province have positive trends towards changing and developing the curriculum of the Arabic language in the second grade medium, and it came to a great extent.
- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the attitudes of Arabic language teachers in the intermediate stage towards changing and developing the curriculum of the Arabic language in the second grade average according to the sex variable and a statistical significance reached (2) which is a statistically significant value in favor of males with a mean. (3.65), while the mean for females was 3.49.
- The absence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the attitudes of Arabic language teachers in the intermediate stage towards changing and developing the curriculum of the Arabic language in the second grade medium according to the variable of experience, where the value of (F) (0.32) which is not significant Statistically.
The researchers recommended the following:
- Work to take the views of teachers and involve them in the development, modification and modernization of curricula and should not neglect their ideas.
- Conducting a field study on the effectiveness of developing the Arabic language curriculum in the second grade of an average school teacher in the educational process.
