Abstract

There is no doubt that lexical consistency is one of the types of textual consistency developed by Halliday Hassan paper which contributes greatly to the cohesion and coherence of the text, and lexical consistency is achieved through two lexical linguistic phenomena: repetition and lexical accompanying                           

The study was limited to the phenomenon of lexical accompanying in the verses of the Koran for life after death; the study includes the relationship of antagonism, and the relationship of male correlation, and the relationship of the whole part, and the relationship of the part to the part, with the statement of these concepts from the point of view of ancient rhetoric scientists and linguists of the text
